Activision plans to stream a pre-E3 live show the Sunday morning before E3 kicks off to highlight new details about Call of Duty: Ghosts, the publisher announced today.
Geoff Keighley and Justine Ezarik will host the 30-minute show whiich will be broadcast on Callofduty.com, Xbox's Machinima app and other "online destinations" on Sunday, June 9, at 11 a.m. PT, 2 p.m. ET. The broadcast will feature "an exclusive first look at gameplay levels," according to the blog post on the official Call of Duty website.
In Ghosts players will be part of the remnants of the world's different special forces. Players will also have dogs as part of their squad, rendered from scans of real service dogs. The dogs can protect the team and sniff out explosives. The game also features a new A.I. system that will create more lifelike experiences - for example, fish will move out of the way when you get close to them. Players will also be able to customize their characters in multiplayer and choose their heads, bodies, helmets and gears.
Maps will be dynamic and will feature events like earthquakes and floods. Player-driven events like opening doors and explosive traps will also alter the flow of the map.
All downloadable content for Call of Duty: Ghosts, which is coming to the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, will launch first on Xbox One as a timed exclusive.
